Our servers do not
support custom .htaccess files. However, our control
panel does offer directory password protection through it's
interface.
WARNING! You should only attempt to password protect new
directories which you have created. Do not attempt to
password protect directories which were part of your hosting
account configuration created by us.
WARNING! Uploading customized .htaccess files by
an inexperienced user will cause irreparable damage to your hosting space requiring complete
deletion of your hosting space and settings (including
mailboxes) to reset the space. There may be a $25
service charge for resetting your space if it was damaged from
your uploading an .htaccess file.
If you are using
FrontPage you should use the security settings in the program
to manage you password protected directories.
